Proportion refers to the relative size and scale of the various elements in a design. The sole use of proportion in a photograph is to create visual interest, one element against another.
In this photo of Expedition Everest in Walt Disney World, I see Expedition Everest towering over a bunch of trees and a river. The Proportion, can be seen in Expedition Everest as it towers over the trees and river. This Proportion conveys a sense of dominance in my opinion. This image is appealing to me because of how Expedition Everest is able to make everything look so small compared to it.
In this photo of the Pyramids of Egypt, I see the massive Pyramids of Egypt in the Egyptian Desert on a hot and sunny day overlooking the Desert. The Proportion, can be seen in the Pyramids of Egypt. This Proportion conveys a sense of supremacy in my opinion. This image is appealing to me because The desert is so flat compared to these colossal structures towering above it.
